Legendary glam rockers The Darkness exploded into the public consciousness for both their unique brand of glammed-up rock and outrageous stage costumes when their debut album 'Permission To Land' shot to number one, spawning new rock anthems including 'Love Is Only A Feeling', 'I Believe In A Thing Called Love' and 'Growing On Me'. 2015 sees the band release their fourth album, provisionally titled Cliffhanger, scheduled for release in March 2015. It follows the band’s 2012 comeback Hot Cakes, and also marks the debut of the band’s new drummer, Emily Dolan Davies, who replaced founding member Ed Graham in late 2014.

They were invited to play at Other Voices. Abandcalledboy are a four piece noise pop band from Belfast .They recorded their new EP in January with plans to release in early 2015. The band released their debut EP (self titled) in April 2014 and quickly gained the attention of key Irish music journalists including Hot Press, Goldenplec and The Thin Air, also receiving praise for their “Cliff Richard” video from Andy Cairns (Therapy?). The band then successfully toured in the UK in support of this release.

Ronan Dennedy (piano), Ken Murphy (bass) and Derek Farrell (drums) met at the Sligo Jazz Project in July. They quickly discovered that they had a love for the jazz trio sound . They draw their repertoire from the songs of the great American composers – Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Victor Young, Richard Rogers, mixing in some Bossa Nova and Blues along the way.

“For The Curious Ear” is an eclectic presentation of contemporary, classical, traditional and experimental music.. The US “percussive dancer” Nic Gareiss (of This Is How We Fly fame) has redefined folk- dancing. For one, it’s not dancing- it’s music- making. In the company of Scottish harpist Maeve Gilchrist, the duo will treat you to a rhythmic feast for the senses. The Chatham Saxophone Quartet play music by American minimalist Steve Reich and the Manning Duo bring us French impressionism by Maurice Ravel.
