Greenfinch
Greenfinch, with their green plumage and striking yellow
wing flashes, can be regularly seen in the small copse
of woodland to the left of the Spirit Store where they
feed on seeds and insects. Greenfinches are resident in
Ireland and usually nest in tall dense trees such as conifers.
As winter progresses they often join with other Finches
forming flocks of dozens of birds that can be identified
by their undulating flight.
