Stewart Agnew
Stewart Agnew is a singer-songwriter from Dundalk and
has been building a strong following through his live
performances over the last number of years. His last
album, Songs from the Gasstation, was recorded in Toronto
with the Ron Sexsmith band and featured Ron as guest
vocalist on 2 of the songs; Gipsy Girl and I Give You
Hope.
Stewart has recently been supporting Mundy on his Irish
Tour and Sharon Shannon. He has just been announced
to support Justin Townes Earle (Steve Earle) on his
upcoming Irish Tour. In previous years he has also supported
acts like Damien Dempsey, Duke Special, Beth Orton,
Josh Ritter and many, many more.
Over the last year Stewart has been working on a new
EP (Street Devils By Night) with producer Lou Natkin.
Lou has worked in the past with Brian Wilson and Joan
Jett. This year will see the release of this new EP.
He will be kicking of an Irish Tour in September with
his full band performing songs from the new EP. The
band include Josh Johnston on piano (Rosey), James Mackin
on Drums (3Epkano), Ken Murphy on bass, Paula O Neill
on vocals and violin and Lyndsey O Neill on cello and
vocals.
