Sinéad McNally
The 10th August 2012 sees the release of 10,000,
the debut EP by the piano based pop singer/songwriter
Sinéad McNally. Inspired by a Thomas Edison quote,
10,000 is already making its mark
as one of the most unusual EP releases in Ireland given
the three month project Sinéad has built around
it. After a very successful first year in the music
industry, releasing three very popular singles in 2011,
Sinéad decided to make her debut EP count and
has set herself ten tasks to bring the EP to the attention
of 10,000 people over the course of the three months.
Each of the 10 tasks are based on music industry
advice, with some quirky tasks thrown in for a little
bit of fun! This Summer, she will travel all over Ireland
promoting the EP on radio, at gigs, through busking
and meet and greet events and she has already secured
a fantastic opportunity to play at the Olympics in London
on the Emerging Icons stage in the Olympic Park in August.
Her last release Dance With Me has become
something of a wedding hit, which is now being played
at wedding ceremonies and receptions in Ireland and
abroad. Sinéad returns to her home venue on August
17th, to play what she describes as her EP release party
gig. Having toured Ireland for the week up to the gig,
she plans on making it a homecoming celebration, performing
with full band and special guests. (To be announced).
Tickets are just €10. Check out Sinéads
10,000 blog and her YouTube channel or follow
her on Twitter and Facebook for more information.
