Hamlet Sweeney
Hamlet Sweeney is a Dublin singer/songwriter with a rich
repertoire of playful-poetic-pop. He's a regular headliner
in Dublin's much respected venue Whelans, where his last
show was described by The Herald as “Jaunty, good-times
acoustic blast.”
The month of May will see Hamlet tour Ireland promoting
his debut EP, The Powerscourt Tapes (produced by Karl
Odlum: Fionn Regan/Declan O'Rourke), featuring 'Perfect
Day', a song already receiving international radio play.
You can expect a fun live show with plenty of banter,
songs about hangovers and quiet moments where you could
hear a pin drop. And before you ask, yes it is his real
name!
The Powerscourt Tapes will be available on iTunes and
