Spandex and bandanas will be in evidence when GnR, the
Guns 'n' Roses tributeers, strut their stuff at THE
SPIRIT STORE on SATURDAY 29TH NOVEMBER! Were you one
of the thousands who waited for hours for to see Guns
'n' Roses at Slane in 1992? There were 5 fanatics in
the crowd and they started talking immediately afterwards
about setting up a tribute to their idols. The result
GnR are recognised as the largest, most accurate and
most loved Guns 'n' Roses tribute band in the country.
Widely regarded by fans, music critics and venue owners
alike as one of the top Irish touring bands, GnR have
played on the country's premier live music circuit for
several years now and are back together for a select
number of shows. The band have also headlined many outdoor
festivals and prestigious biker rallies and events throughout
the calendar, in their hay-day amassing an average of
over 100 shows per year. Expect all the hits and some
serious shape throwing to go with it, including Slash's
languid, tell-tale fag in mouth pose or even the possibility
of an on-stage, real life tantrum from the ever unpredictable
and occasionally temperamental lead vocalist Can Cribson!
The boys are also well known as Irish backing band to
legendary ex-Iron Maiden frontman Paul Di'Anno on his
occasional Irish tours. In the past, the lads backed
up Paul for appearances in Waterford, Cork, Limerick,
Dundalk, Belfast & Dublin and legendary Drogheda
guitar supremo Gordon "Flash" Murphy from
GnR operates as musical director for Di'Anno in this
part of the world. These shows will undoubtedly be spoken
of in awe for years to come by the Irish rock fraternity.
Early attendance is advised on SATURDAY 29TH NOVEMBER
as a large crowd is expected - don't you dare miss it!
