Boondalk Saints
Have you ever thrown two eggs, milk and flour into a blender
to make a yoghurt?
Despite having the traditional two guitars, bass and drums
the Boondalk Saints have carved out a relatively unique
sound in an otherwise plain, overdone and overplayed genre.
Catchy lyrics and melodies defended by a rumbling rythm
section enforce memories of the early Who, yet punctuated
by Van Halen-esque riffs the Boondalk Saints are quite
hard to place in either the Indie rock or classic rock
genres.
Still yet to mark the first year of the band's formation,
Mada, Jim, Chris, Killian and Frank the Tank have gelled
together splendidly in time to record their EP,
recorded in December of last year and available now. |
