Beyond This Point Are Monsters
Beyond This Point Are Monsters are an instrumental
rock band from Derby. The band play a mixture of math,
prog, and post-rock, combining multi-layered guitars with
off-kilter drumming to create intelligently structured,
non-linear songs that rarely sound the same twice.
In the last year Beyond This Point Are Monsters have toured
extensively, playing all over the country with bands as
diverse as Rolo Tomassi, Tubelord, And So I Watch You
From Afar, Cougar, Amusement Parks On Fire, Johnny Foreigner,
Sleepy Sun, Brontide, Danananaykroyd and many others,
garnering a solid fan base with their epic and hi-octane
live performances.
Beyond This Point Are Monsters will be touring Ireland
in February and the UK in March of 2010 to promote Family
Tree.
Family Tree, will be released by Fight
Me Records in January 2010 through Shellshock.
Sounding a bit like Mogwai and Hope Of The States
joyriding on a magic carpet, these instrumental post-rockers
drench their majestic guitarscapes with torrents of
howling feedback and some furiously-hacked violins.

fans of the Big Scary Monsters music scene would do
