?Since 2010 the Irish Rockers 2minutes2midnight have blended influences as diverse as Oasis, Kasabian, Megadeth, The Beatles, Guns n’ Roses  and Led Zeppelin amongst others to their own mix of classic style but yet modern sound. Since their formation the lads showed a swagger and confidence in both the style and deliverance of music on stage and recorded. Renowned for their home brew of no-nonsense rock and roll and expert showmanship which has earned them accolades,  the lads continue to mix the energetic  guitar playing of axe man Trevor Thompson with rock and right on the money sound of front man Damien Mc Kenna’s voice.

Their recording debut saw the arrival of their award winning EP “Ask Freud”. Described as having “elements that will fill the void since the departure of Oasis” and “Guitar solos from the hay day of classic rock” (Hotpress), the EP was well received throughout the country. From early on the band showed an unrivalled stage presence and presented the songs to back this up to the delight of audiences. Since the beginning of 2011 the band has confirmed their arrival by performing throughout the Irish music scene. Selling out The Spirit Store and giving eye catching performances on main stage Templehouse and Arthurs Day headline in the Mezz has shown that the lads have what it takes to rise to the pinnacle of their craft. Recently Mc Kenna and Thompson began work on a new project. Their honest, hardworking approach to music has been refreshing while also providing  the driving force behind the recording of the new album. In their own words; “This is what it’s all about, this is rock n’ roll in its purist form…  Enjoy”.

In late 2011 the band teamed up with producer and engineer Jason Varley to start work on their debuth album which is well on the way to being completed.
